               Mathias (DIESS) Gunther son of BALTHAR and ANNA SEEGLUND) GUNTHER was born February 16, 1595.
     Catharina, daughter of HANS and AGATHA (OSTERTAG) HANSELMAN was born January 28, 1603. [Hans Hanselman and Agatha, day
laborer Collwagen had a daughter Katharina born January 28, 1603. There were no other Katharine Hanselmans born anywhere near the correct time. GP:

  Catharine died on October 8, 1644, age 44.
  Mathies then married 2) Maria, widow of Hans Bacher on January 19, 1647; married 3) Barbara widow of George Seeger on July 24, 1657; and
married 4) Elizabeth in 1663.
  Mathias died on July 1676 at the age of 85 years.

CHILDREN OF MATHIAS AND BARBARA GUNTHER:
7)   Matthias born February 10, 1655 and died young.

  1622, October 14 MARRIAGE DIESS GUNTHER, surviving son of Balthar and Catharina dau of Hans Hanselman citizen and day  laborer in
  Collwagen. (see birth March 7, 1623. [She was evidently pregnant] I have copy
1623, March 7 child born.
1626, October 6 Mathias Gunther son of Dies and Catharina Gunther was born Breitenberg.
  1644, October 8 Catharine, wife of Dies Gunther died, age 44 (age doesn't fit with birth, but that is the only birth that fits. There were no Catherine
  Hanselmans born between 1598 and 1602).
1647, January 19 MARRIAGE Mathias Gunther, court worker of Breitenberg married Maria, widow of Hans Bacher of Rotenbach
1655, December 20 Maria Gunther, wife of Diess Gunther died age 56 years in Brietenberg.
1657, July 24 MARRIAGE Dies Gunther the older married Barbara, widow of George Seeger.
1659, April 2 Barbara wife of Dies Gunther died.
1663 MARRIAGE Mathias the old one married Elisabeth, widow of George Mauer.  She was a widow and had been in jail twice for adultery.
  1676, July 22 Mathias Gunther of Breitenburg died, age 85.  May not be the correct age on death record. Could only find Mathias son of Balthar born
  in 1595, none born in 1591.
