Did You Know?
If an individual left Baden legally, completing all the proper papers, it is
possible (not guaranteed) that information on this ancestor and his entire
family is recorded within the Emigration record cards filmed by the LDS.
This information is alphabetical, listing each member of the family by name,
sex, age and relationship to the head of the family. It lists the month and
year of emigration and the HOME CITY in Baden.
(One qualification is that the list of children may vary from the ship's
manifest--it was not uncommon for children to be sent with another family
for reunion with relatives, parents who had emigrated earlier.)
